Note that at least one author for every paper and poster must be registered by January 23. The last day for early-bird registration rates is January 9. The last day to register for in-person conference attendance is February 6, unless it sells out before then; registration for virtual conference attendance is available until Feb 26. The conference hotel lodging reservation ($169/night at the Westin Alexandria Old Town) has been available for a while; you can also find accommodation information on the conference website.
If you would like assistance finding a hotel roommate for the conference, please fill in your information on the Roommate Finder Spreadsheet. We provide the spreadsheet as a way for people to find each other, but we do not help match people. Please monitor the spreadsheet yourself and remove your name once you are no longer in need of a roommate.
On this year's registration form, registrants for the RUME Conference can make a donation to help cover the cost of attendance for students without sufficient travel funds from their institutions. The RUME Executive Committee intends to support as many students as possible who do not have institutional travel/conference support. Students who are presenting papers or posters will be prioritized. Support will be either a partial refund of registration or partial support for lodging costs. Unfortunately, we cannot know ahead of time how much the donation total will be, and thus we do not know how much support will be available. The application deadline is January 30, and award notifications will be sent by February 13.
