Hello everyone, 

I help run a webinar through the EDGE (enhancing diversity in graduate education) network, and the first webinar of the year might be very pertinent for some of you.  We'll be learning how to use the interactive instructional technology MathMatize. 

I use MathMatize in my classes and I think it makes a big difference for my students.  This past semester the failure rate in my sections was 30% compared to the course average of 43%!

Abstract: I'll give an overview of MathMatize and how it is used to facilitate active learning and online assessment in university classrooms. I'll also share the MathMatize content editor, which was built for STEM content creators. Attendees will be given the opportunity to try out the software live and ask questions.
