Dear RUME Colleagues,

This is a reminder the deadline to apply to the PhD Program in Mathematics and Science Education (MSE) at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) for full consideration for Fall 2026 is January 15, 2026.

The MSE program is an interdisciplinary program designed to train academic researchers and educational professionals to carry out, evaluate, and integrate research in mathematics or science education. The Mathematics Education Concentration has a separate concentration core designed to prepare individuals to conduct research on the teaching and learning of mathematics, while also earning mathematics credits to work as faculty in a mathematics department. We currently have 10 students and 6 active faculty members in the Mathematics Education Concentration. Our faculty and students are regular presenters at the RUME, PME-NA, and AMTE conferences.

For more information about the MSE Program see https://mse.mtsu.edu/

If you receive this outside of your working hours, it is because I am working flexibly in a way that works for me. I respect other working patterns and do not expect replies outside working hours.
