|
Join us to explore how educators can leverage seven evidence-based principles for undergraduate STEM instruction, with a focus on mathematics. Building on recommendations
from our 2025 report, Transforming Undergraduate STEM Education, this interactive meeting will take place virtually on Wednesday,
April 29 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM ET.

Effective mathematics education ensures students are prepared to generate new discoveries and innovations that contribute to society.

highlighted, followed by an in-depth discussion on how to apply key approaches and concepts at the academic unit or departmental level. Participants will have the opportunity to walk through a custom module based on the 2025 report, Transforming
Undergraduate STEM Education, and discuss how these recommendations could be applied across a variety of educational settings.
Speakers will include:
- Sean Yee, University of South Carolina
- Nicholas Horton, Amherst College
- Marco Molinaro, University of Maryland
