The Editorial Team of Investigations in Mathematics Learning (IML) is seeking proposals for a special issue. The editorial team intends to choose one submission as a special issue, which would be forthcoming in 2028 as issue #1 (Volume 20). Proposals must be no longer than four single-spaced pages in length, excluding references and a list of reviewers. The proposal due date is May 8, 2026, submitted to Megan Che, IML Editor, sc...@clemson.edu, with IML special issue in the subject line. A decision will be communicated by June 1, 2026.
The special issue will be published in the first issue of 2028 (January 2028). Thus, the call for fully developed manuscripts must be distributed broadly no later than July 1, 2026. Final versions of manuscripts will be due no later than November 1, 2027.
See the Call for Special Issue Proposals for additional details.
