Hello all

The enclosed call for chapter proposals is of interest to individuals involved in the geometric preparation of future secondary teachers. If you teach a geometry course for teachers this should be of interest. Similarly, if you develop materials (books, lessons, assessments, etc.) that might be used in these courses you might be interested in checking out this call. The book is directed toward university mathematics instructors but authors from a wide variety of backgrounds and orientations are welcome.

Abstracts are due at the end of November and full chapter submissions will be due in late spring. The editors will do a Zoom presentation of the book with time for Q&A from prospective authors October 21, 2022. Details and registration at https://bit.ly/3egmm0g

The book project is an outgrowth of GeT Support, an R&D project centered at the GRIP Lab, University of Michigan (gripumich.org) funded by NSF. The book extends the work of GeT: A Pencil–A faculty online learning community of instructors of geometry courses for teachers (see getapencil.org).

Individuals interested in contributing to the book might also be interested in attending
GeT: Together at RUME a 1-day pre-conference before RUME in Omaha. Financial support will be available. Please indicate your interest by filling out the form found at https://forms.gle/qqVCNh7d5ULCAKpA9
