Hello everyone,
If you have already or are in the early stages of a research project involving Generative AI in postsecondary mathematics education, consider applying to join us at this two-day Generative AI Convening at MAA Headquarters! We hope to have some informed discussions and generate momentum in both research and professional development around GenAI in mathematics. As one of the organizers, I'm happy to answer any questions you have!
The MAA will host an in-person Convening at our headquarters in Washington DC on June 15-16, 2026, inviting experienced practitioners and researchers to share insights on the use of Generative AI in classrooms to help guide future research and recommendations. Travel and hotel expenses will be covered for selected participants. Learn more and apply by April 26th: https://maa.org/generative-ai-and-mathematics-education-convening/
