Hello RUME folk,
A colleague at the University of Southern Mississippi is part of a collaborative project that is conducting a national study examining how faculty members are approaching inclusive excellence and student support amid recent federal, state, and institution-level policy changes affecting diversity, equity, and inclusion work in higher ed.
The team is seeking responses to an anonymous survey in order to understand:
● How pedagogical practices and curriculum design have evolved
● Strategies faculty use to support diverse students
● Changes in institutional climate and available resources
● Faculty perspectives on continuing this work
Your insights are crucial for documenting this moment in higher education and identifying effective approaches for supporting all students. The survey takes approximately 20-30 minutes to complete and all responses are completely confidential.
The researchers will also conduct follow-up interviews with interested participants. Those willing to be interviewed can provide their contact information through a separate link at the end of the survey.
This study has been approved by the Institutional Research Board at the University of Southern Mississippi (Protocol 25-0639).
Thank you for contributing to this important research!
