2027 RUME Conference Request for Proposals

Dear RUME Community and the broader math education community,
On behalf of the SIGMAA RUME Conference Program Committee, I am writing to invite submissions to the 2027 Conference on Research in Undergraduate Mathematics Education. The conference will take place on February 25-27, 2027 in San Diego, CA. We are grateful to our colleagues at San Diego State University for hosting the conference.
This email serves as the first request for proposals (RFP) for the annual conference. The SIGMAA on RUME Conference offers a space for scholars and educators to discuss and engage with research that focuses on issues related to mathematics education at the post-secondary level. Please consult the newly revised RFP for details on submissions and other relevant information.
The RFP document has been revised to better support students and other first-time attendees of the conference. The new RFP introduces changes to the nature of submission and its process. We included in the RFP is a new flowchart to help authors decide which type of submission is most appropriate for their work. And this year, authors have the option of presenting their work as part of a roundtable presentation. Additional conference details can be found on our 2027 conference website.
