Dear Colleagues,

The Research in Mathematics Education for Two-Year Colleges (RMETYC) Community invites you to submit a proposal to present at the 2025 Research Session at AMATYC's annual Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on November 19-22, 2026.

Every year, the American Mathematical Association of Two-Year Colleges (AMATYC) hosts a Research Session at AMATYC’s annual conference.

The Research Session will be held on the evening of November 19th.  It will have one 50-minute keynote address followed by break-out sessions of 30-minutes each.

Please consider submitting a proposal if your research focuses on mathematics or statistics teaching and learning at the community colleges – or within the first two years of college mathematics, and sharing this call with colleagues engaged in this research.  More details about this research community can be found at this webpage.

The Request for Proposals is attached.  Proposals are due January 25, 2026.

Sincerely,

Frank Marfai
