Dear colleagues,
This is a second reminder about the Research in Graduate Mathematics Education Working Group, titled “Bridging Research, Practice, and Advocacy in Graduate Mathematics Education,” happening during RUME on Thursday, February 26, 8:00am–12:00pm ET. This year, we’ll be focusing on collaboratively drafting a Graduate Bill of Rights, articulating principles that support dignity, equity, and well-being in graduate mathematics education.
You do not need to identify as a graduate education researcher to participate. We warmly welcome faculty, administrators, graduate students, and anyone interested in thoughtful conversations about how to better support graduate students and their dignity in our programs and institutions.
You can join us in person at RUME or via Zoom. If you’re interested in participating, please fill out this short Google form to help us finalize programming details: https://forms.gle/MYwMihFM1fXTNduE8
Please feel free to forward this invitation to others who might be interested. You can also learn more about our group here: https://www.rgme-group.com/WG2026_RUME
If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out at tol...@ucsb.edu.
We’d love to have you join us for this community-centered conversation!
Warmly,
Royce Olarte
