Hi Fabio!
So, generaliizing the question:
How do I pass more variables to my custom templates in a RUM application.

Have a look at the function _inject_tg_vars in
https://bitbucket.org/brickenstein/tgrum/src/025adedd97b6/tgrum.py#cl-43

Here we already pass variables that are common in TurboGears to the renderer inside the RUM
application such that it will be able to render the normal TurboGears templates.

You can just write another rule analogous to _inject_tg_vars and add the variable "page" to the dict.
