Rodion Tikhomirov integrated incredible technique of the old Dutch
masters with the universal symbolism and modern themes in his detailed
and complex multi-level oil on canvas paintings. Paintings of Rodion
Tikhomirov are in private collections in the United States, Europe and
Ukraine. Since 1996 Rodion Tikhomirov is living and working in New
York City.

PALEKH. FROM ICONS TO SOUVENIR BOXES TO ICONS
ThE exhibition in Museum of Russian Icons (Clinton, MA) not only
presents the beauty and craftsmanship of miniature lacquer art, but
also provides an insight into the history of this amazing tradition
and the people who have kept it alive.
