I can download everything fine but when i launch the program it opens immediately yet steam vr takes a while to open and they wont connect to one another. looking to buy this program but i want to make sure it works first.

first of all, can you update to latest version?
this time it should not start steamvr post upgrade.
then check task manager if any of steamvr programs is still running even though you closed them: vrserver.exe, vrmontior.exe.

ok so i have steam vr on my c drive as well as the driver but it wont launch together as well as an error message from steam vr when i have the driver installed. i compared with a friend as well and im missing a something in my devices when i open the driver that it needs to install but when i do nothing happens.

Is there any way to close completely everything related to the pimax headset. I have a feeling that there is some drivers of the pimax that are in my PC at boot and those drivers are related also to steamvr . If those drivers related to steamvr throught pimax are loaded in the background while I install driver4vr, the driver4vr does not install properly in steamvr.

I your like to come up with a solution for playing vr games with gloves , using the vive trackers for tracking the hands and the gloves in place of the vive buttons . I know someone that with driver4vr and kinetic can do finger tracking too, but the problem is that when turning against the cameras of the kinetic, the tracking disappear
