Assalamu alaikum,

Imam Muslim got paid well…

It may even make some Muslims today uncomfortable.

How’d a scholar of Islam dedicated to authenticating Hadith become so wealthy?

Especially since in his collection of Hadith - Sahih Muslim - is this prophetic narration:

“The world is a prison for the believer and a paradise for the disbeliever.”

Aren’t we supposed romanticize poverty, and look down on wealth?

See this is one of the discussions we have in the new seminar:

Into The Mirror:
Spiritual, Intellectual, and Personality Growth Through Sahih Muslim

If you’re not aware of Imam Muslim - his collection of Prophetic narrations is the only hadith book that’s closely compared to - and on par with Sahih Bukhari.

While the name is popular, not many know this about him:

Muslim had MAJOR passive income from his real estate in Nishapur, which freed up his time to pursue Islamic knowledge and compile his Sahih over the course of his life.

You see, wealth is a means - not an end. It’s a tool that serves you in this life and the next.

In my seminar, we’ll look at ahadith like the one above, and at the life of Imam Muslim…

...so we can learn how to raise the bar in our own lives.

This is what one class activity looks like:

Together, we'll take the first steps to seek passive income with the right intention, consistent and well thought-out du'aa, a plan for using 'freed time' for the sake of Allah, and leaving behind a positive legacy.
