SOUTH CHAMPIONSHIP WILL BE 3 WEEKS PRIOR on MAY 9/10.

Subject: SOUTH HS CHAMPIOSNHIPS
As the National HS/U19 championships are May 15-17 I propose the South Championships be held on April 25/26.
Format will be the same as last year with Boys single and multi School brackets and a combined girls bracket.
Bids are invited to host the 2009 South Championships, please submit to me by Nov 30. Bid requirements can be found on the south web site.
Please let me know immediately if the proposed date is a combined NO NO for some reason.

Just to clarify as I know there is some confusion coming out of North Carolina; Carolina Youth Rugby, the SBO for North Carolina will be sending teams for both the High School and the Club Divisions.
In addition North Carolina will be submitting a bid to host the South Championship.
Finally, following from the success of last year we intend to once again hold the South All Stars Challenge in June (most likely the 14th/15th June) for U19 and U17 as well as U19 Girls. We also are looking the possibility of a U15 competition. Any and all feedback on this would be most welcome.
