USAR Coaching Development Program January 19 & 20 in Charlotte

I just wanted to update you on the progress of the Coach Development Program Workshops being conducted in Charlotte January 19 & 20.

 

We currently have 12 people registered for the Introducing Rugby Course.  This is a sufficient number to conduct the course however please encourage anyone you know who may be interets in attending.  Every  teams needs to have atleast one accredited coach.

 

Introducing Rugby: This workshop is designed for coaches who concentrate on introducing the game to new players. It is ideal for high school head coaches as well as college and club assistant coaches. Focusing on the fundamentals, this workshop will benefit coaches and players with limited rugby experience.  NOTE: Walk-ins to workshops are STRONGLY DISCOURAGED. Registration and completion of the on-line modules BEFORE attending the workshop is highly recommended

Remember, the old CAP level 1, 2 &3 accreditation is no longer offered and to remain certified you will need to participate in the updated program. Below is the price breakdown for certification and the bottom of this email includes step by step instructions on how to register for the new Coaches' Portal and Workshops.

To be certified, a coach will need to purchase both the Coaches’ Portal and one workshop of choice.

Coaches' Portal: $20 for members of USA Rugby! Non-members= $40
