Yep, it was sad to hear.  I was lucky to get by to visit with him last Friday afternoon in his home in Sewanee, and he was in good spirits as he has been throughout his bout with cancer.  Spoke with Mary Clark this morning, his x-wife, and they will place half of his ashes on the pitch at Sewanee and half will return to England.

Jerry McLemore visited with Brian last weekend and told me he died of  cancer (don't know what kind) and for all he had and was going through he was in good spirits.  Part of his ashes will be spread on the Sewanee rugby pitch.
