Hey folks,

we are still looking for a venue for our December meetup (and beyond also in general). I've had 4 venues say they can't do it usually due to some variation of Christmas party/cleanup/whatnot so am sadly down on a list where I was confident I could make it happen.

If you know a venue to make it happen please let me know.

Here's the list of our requirements/information as I usually send it to hosts (so you can short cut straight checking it):

* Info: meetup happens every first Thursday of month unless that happens to be a holiday/exceptional circumstances

* Space for ~50 people who prefer to be seated :)

* space inside the Berlin ring or very close

* projector/presentation space (best equipped with common adapters), setup so that speakers can stand in front of the crowd  with the projection space behind them

* Drinks (non alcoholic options should be there, alcoholic ones can) for free or for a fee

* Food is optional - if there is we need vegetarian options, vegan options would be great

  * food is best to be there before the meetup starts (it arriving while it runs is usually not great)

* Signs to point the way to the venue (with RUG-B written on them), best already at the entrance to the building so that people know that this is the right building

* An address and if it’s hard to find some hints on how to find it

~18:00/18:30 people start coming and the meetup usually, real start is 19:00 though we have 3 presentations so we often go on until ~22 o’clock

* WIFI access would be nice but not needed

* We really don’t want to have a sign in list for people to sign in, quite some of our regulars hate that

* Host has an optional 5 minute slot before the meetup starts to introduce themselves, we advise for short and sweet though but please do mention what kind of technologies you use/what you use Ruby for as many people are interested in this

* this is our code of conduct: https://berlincodeofconduct.org/

Cheers,

Tobi
