I've been performing some experiments with attuning several volunteers, and the results are in.
The premise was that performing an attunement of their sphere would bring them into closer harmony with the sphere of one of the classical astrological planets. That particular aspect of the experiment was a great success.
I also got the idea that I could get people into K&CHGA more quickly by performing a solar attunement and then teaching them to use the conjuration techniques of Trithemius to summon their Good Genius, an aspect of the HGA.
(Note: It was never intended to establish K&CHGA without the person doing the Work, for those who get squeamish at the idea of spiritual shortcuts for sale. All it does is make it easier, in theory, to speak with your HGA. The results of the conversation should then lead to the K&CHGA experience more quickly using the Abramelin or Samekh techniques.
The results of this experiment have been mixed. Not because the attunements failed, but because some of the people receiving them had all kinds of things crop up to delay them from implementing the techniques. Those who were ready and got started quickly had good and immediate results in working with their genii. Those who were not ready had distraction after distraction crop up.
So the ideal recipient of an HGA attunement would be someone devoted to K&CHGA that doesn't have time for the full retreat, but is already performing rites to contact their HGA regularly. It's the spiritual equivalent of an adrenaline shot and a good word put in on your behalf with the right "people."
