Smiles Upcoming Events ( Fedor Amelienko Fight FREE this Sat!!!)

Hey Y'all,

  Just wanted to send a quick shout out and let you know we will be showing the upcoming Fedor Amelienka vs. Tim Sylvia fight here at Smiles.  Fedor is a bad ass.  He is undefeated.  I think he had one no contest for a cut he received for an accidental head butt a few years ago, but other than that, he fights the toughest dudes on the planet and whips ass.  For those of you that don't know, Fedor is a mixed martial artist, and he's the best in the world, at least in my opinion.   He was the defending Pride Heavyweight Champ for the past 4 years all the way up until Pride got bought out by the UFC.  We're showing the fight along with other good fighters such as Andre Arlovski and Matt Linland or something like that.  He won gold medal in wrestling in the last Olympics.  Anyways the fight is FREE and if you can make it you should come check it out, cuz this guy is the best in the business.  He is simply incredible and having been a fight fan for a long time, both boxing and mixed martial arts I've never seen a fighter like this.  He's like Gladiator but the real deal.  So, the undercards start at 6p this Saturday the 19th.  I'm opening early just to feature this fight.

  Also....  this upcoming Wednesday the 23rd we are kicking off Smiles Latin night.  So, if you like that Gypsy Kings, Elvis Crespo salsayee stuff come checks it out.  We are also in the process of doing auditions for Smiles comedy night.  Smiles comedy night should kick off Sat. August 2nd.
