Ruforia Bonus Mix: Strawberries and Cream + Other goings on...

Hi guys,
by now most of you will probably have the "Strawberries and Cream"
bonus mix that I put on the podcast, this was my entry for the
babycream DJ competition ( http://www.babycream.co.uk ), I don't know
how happy about the mix itself I am, but I'd be an idiot if I at least
didn't try! Tell me what you think! If I get through to the heats,
I'll let you know!! I'm going to try and get another, longer (This mix
is only an hour long due to the limitations of the competition) mix
done this week, so keep your ears peeled!

In other news: Now that I'm back in the UK, I'm making a concerted
effort to get the Ruforia nights up and running again. If anybody in
the North would like to help out with this, drop me a line!

I've moved my blog across from mySpace, and feeling that much better

I'm in the process of setting up a separate blog for all DJ related
postings.

I've just re-installed Windows on my laptop (Don't you hate having to
do that?), and now because it thinks it's in the UK, iTunes is getting
a whole different list of reviews I'd never seen before. But now I
can't see the American ones! Stupid iTunes. I've added the new reviews
to my "Nice people who've said nice things about Ruforia" page

There's a couple of little things you can do to help the Ruforia
podcast! I know you're busy, so I've tried to make them as painless as
possible:
o Go to http://ruforia.googlepages.com/ and click the "Digg It"
button in the middle of the page... Ruforia is currently on the "Up
and Coming" list of podcasts - let's try and get it into the charts!
o Write a review on iTunes - This really helps the podcast, the
more good feedback it has, the more people subscribe!
o Tell everyone you know! Get your friends, the postman, that ugly
secretary at work who looks like she hasn't smiled in the last 15
years - maybe it's all she needs!

Glad to hear that you're back in the land of milk and honey.

I have a gig for you on December 10th if you're interested, the fee won't be huge coz it's for charity. Check out www.safeatlast.org.uk/ for details of the charity.

The event will be in Sheffield on December 10th, either at City Hall or the Cutler's Hall, and is an under 18's prom night. It's always been a great 'do', the kids are ace and so are the yummy mummys who turn up to pick them up.

I can guarantee you lots and lots of great publicity if you're able to do the job.
