NETWALK: a Collective Garment
Netwalk is a collective garment in which a series of individual belts worn by participants interconnect to create a unified network of red, orange, and magenta fabrics. The piece brings attention to the core of one's own body and that of others, and to the exchange between personal and collective power. When a group of people have successfully hooked into the garment, we will walk the length of the block together, negotiating the rhythms of our collective body and of our environment.
Netwalk is a participatory artwork. Anyone attending the Rubin Museum Block Party is welcome to partake. You will need to commit approximately 30 minutes for the full experience.
