Dear Friends,
I will be moving in September for a Visiting Assistant Professor position and I am looking for a quiet, respectful, and very clean tenant to sublet my 1-bedroom apartment in Ridgewood, Queens. The apartment is fully furnished, receives excellent natural light, and is ideal for someone seeking a calm, comfortable living space.
Available Dates:
Move-in on or before Sept 14, 2025
Move-out on or after June 14, 2026, possible extension between June 14 - August 14, 2026
Description: 1-bedroom apartment in Ridgewood, Queens near bars, restaurants, grocery stores, laundromats, and many other conveniences on a tree lined street. The apartment is in a quiet, small building with landlords on the ground floor and another tenant next-door. With a full kitchen, living room, bedroom, and a studio with a separate entrance, it has kitchen supplies, towels, sheets, clothes hangers, storage boxes, etc. Rent is $1600 per month and utilities are between $150- $200 per month
Requirements: You must meet and be approved by my landlords, provide references and proof of income. A $1600 Security Deposit and one month rent are required to move in. Any Studio contents left behind must remain undisturbed. A basic cleaning schedule must be maintained and I ask that you water my plants while I am away. Smoking, drugs, and parties are not allowed. This apartment is for one person, no couples or frequent visits from a partner will be accepted.
