How are you on this heat blasted day in early August? I hope you are near a glass, pool, or ocean of cold water.
What follows is an invitation to meet by the Passaic River tomorrow afternoon.
I've spent the last many months working towards this event with Amanda Thackray and countless others.
We would love to have your hands (and/or spirits) shaping the paper pulp into a fantastic image with us this Saturday. Details below.
cheers!

Join the RIVERBOUND project this Saturday, led by local
artists Milcah Bassel and Amanda Thackray, to collaborate on a large-scale
image made of paper pulp.
Learn about the process of pouring sheets of
paper using locally sourced materials, and partake in creating a
community pulp painting.
Come build connections between the Passaic
River and the people of Newark through artmaking!
All ages welcome,
young children with adult supervision, no prior experience necessary.
RIVERBOUND is part of Green Fest
