Socrates Sculpture Park opening

HEY!

Hope you have had a better summer than me.

This past summer was incredibly difficult. We live in crazy times. There were so many terrible things that we have all had to deal with... I feel like i was juggling so many things and failed at doing it right. I'm sorry for that. I'm sorry I haven't been around.

However, there is one thing i am proud to have seen through this summer. I have made this new sculpture for Socrates Sculpture Park.

Maybe, its because I just finished it, but i feel like it is one of the best things I have ever made.

Its called I Still Remember You Mijo (Votive Vela).

This work is a memorial for separated families. It changes colors with the temperature. It’s about sculpture as memorial. It’s our hearts breaking during these difficult time. I love you all.

The exhibition opens October 5th at Socrates Sculpture park. All the pertinent info and list of the other amazing artists in the image below.
