Hi m,

The Dual Zone feature in Ruckus 2211 will provide you wireless
connectivity to the Metro APs and simultaneously provide you wireless
connectivity to your home wireless clients. You will have two distinct
SSIDs with separate security configurations for truly secure access.

Hi m,

That advertisement is not from Ruckus and I don't have details on that
specific pricing structure.

That said, consumers who currently own 2211 will get free firmware
upgrade. And those consumers who purchase 2211s in December will also
get free firmware upgrade.

New purchases from January 2007 will have different pricing structure.

Why is it so difficult to get this upgrade? Either you have it as a
free download or for purchase! It seems like ruckus wireless don't
want their customer to have this feature/upgrade.

Hi m,

I am not sure why you think Ruckus doesn't want their customers to have
this feature. As I said, if you already have a 2211, you will get the
free upgrade when the firmware becomes available.

ooh, so its not available yet. i was getting the impression from eric
that i have to contact my reseller to get it.

It is only in beta trials right now. Yes, it will be a free upgrade for
anyone that purchased a unit prior to Dec 31 2006.
