System:
Lenovo V570 laptop, Intel I5 64-bit cpu, 6 GB ram
PCLOS KDE-32bit, Linux 3.2.18 pae,btf kernel
RVM 1.20.10 (stable)
I tried to upgrade Jruby-1.7.3 to 1.7.4, and when I did, 1.7.3 was deleted from my system.
I then tried to install 1.7.4 and keep getting this message.
jzakiya@localhost ~ $ rvm --force install jruby-1.7.4
Searching for binary rubies, this might take some time.
Installing requirements for redhat, might require sudo password.
Installing required packages: java-1.7.0-openjdk. - using ZSH, can not show progress, be patient...

Why the reference to redhat, and why can't I make it install from the source code?
I've looked at all the notes and documentation I could find, and still can't install Jruby-1.7.4
I had no problem upgrading Ruby from 2.0.0-p0 to 2.0.0-p195, and also have installed rbx-2.0.0-rc1
