I know $ rvm pkg was deprecated (possibly already removed?). Is there a way with auotolibs to install from source files for things like openssl, libyaml, etc. that were previously handled by rvm pkg? Think servers where sudo access to the package management tool is not allowed but you don't want to have to install all the dependencies by hand. rvm pkg was perfect for this but I'm not sure if it's been replaced or just yanked?

I tried searching through the group but didn't see this direct topic addressed. Thanks for any help / feedback / guidance.

you can still use it: rvm autolibs rvm_pkg

it's just least tested method of installing dependencies and if you need to report bugs with all the details for it
