Hey guys,
As you no doubt know, I've been working hard at organizing next year's
Rubyfuza.
This years conference is going to be the most awesome ever. The
interest from international guys and gals has been phenomenal, so
there's going to be tons of new interesting people to speak to, plenty
to learn, and we'll have a great time doing it.
However, so far 25 talks have been submitted with only 4 from South Africans. We can do better than that ;)
Talks
are again 20-25 min followed by 5 min of Q and A. The unofficial theme
of the conference is "The future of Ruby", but topics of interest range
from Ruby (obviously), Rubygems, Rails and anything Ruby-related to
interesting programming techniques, scaling strategies and even
JavaScript/CoffeeScript. This year we will not be accepting talks on the
Large Hadron Collider or dolphins.
Ciao,
Marc
