How To Patch Rails

Hi guys,

I think I'm a reasonable ruby programmer now, and I'd like to be more helpful
when I submit a ticket.

However, even though the projects I work on are version controlled, I don't know
enough about SVN to know how to create the patches that Rails Trac prefers.

Are there any quick hints people can give, or some pages I can visit to read
about them?
