an from development mode into a production mode

i have been working on a app ,this is basically my first one , so want to know how the transition takes place from development to production, i use paperclip for uploading in my app so should i make any changes for it in production.rb while deploying or anything else. pls kindly give a brief description on wat has to be done, to deploy the app successfully and the how to deploy it...

For a beginner i think that its best that you go through atleast the first chapter of railstutorial.org and try to deploy your app on heroku.

If you face any issues try solving it or come back with the details of the errors that you are facing.

hmm like r thr any changes needed to be made in environment while deploying and is a index file necessary as a default page
