I am GSoC applicant. I am good at C, C++, Ruby, PHP and Chapel. I want to contribute in this project. Can you guide me how to get started in project and from where I can learn more about Rails ?

A Rails core member blogged about contributing to Rails here : http://blog.kaspth.com. You can also learn more in general about Ruby on Rails through the guides and for your case, specifically the Contributing to Ruby on Rails one.

Also, please note that even though this can be a plus for your application, contributing to Rails (or at least understanding some parts of its code base) can help you for the writing of your application as you will be able to include technical details and better explain your project if you were to send us an application.
