Hi

I have, my main site hosted on Godaddy. http://xyz.com and www.xyz.com
points to this site. Now I have another application running on my
slice which i want to be abc.xyz.com (subdomain). For this I have set
DNS records on Godaddy for redirecting requests to abc.xyz.com to the
slicehost IP. This works fine.

But after redirection, the URLs in the application shows IP adress
itself. I want abc.xyz.com to be shown instead of IP.

Similarly I want to be able to ssh into the slice giving abc.xyz.com
instead of IP.

What needs to be done for this?

Thanks in advance

Did you setup a redirection or a new A record for abc.xyz.com? You
want to create a new A record to map the ip address of your slice to
the subdomain.

Cheers,
John
