I've posted a screencast version of my lightning talk for the Bay Area
Computer Music Technology meetup:

In it I demonstrate hooking a MetaGenerator up to draw in wxRuby,
generate raw WAV/PCM audio data, and play MIDI notes. Code for the
demos is in the project examples directory:
