Hey everyone,

I'm trying to implement a slide to reveal UITableViewCell and am having trouble with a UIScrollView subview.

It seems like the following delegate method is not called and I have no idea why:

scrollViewWillEndDragging:withVelocity:targetContentOffset:

The delegate is called when building the project with Objective-C in XCode.

I've put together an example repository with both RubyMotion and XCode versions demonstrating the problem.

I'm logging out "scrollViewWillEndDragging" in both projects. I only see it when running off of the XCode project.

https://github.com/dblandin/rubymotion-uitableviewcell-scroll

I'm wondering if this is a problem unique to RubyMotion...

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

I ran into exactly the same problem :/
It's been weeks and I have no idea how to fix it.

Did you file a support issue with HipByte? Just looking at the code it seems like it is genuinely a bug with the runtime, though I’d want to dig a bit more into the generate binary to be sure...

Yes, I did file a support ticket through the motion support command.

It's currently "processing" on FreshDesk.

I'll let you all know when I hear something back.

Thanks,

It has been nearly 5 days since I've filed a bug with HipByte related to this thread. Their automated email stated that tickets usually receive some response within 24 hours.

I sent a follow-up message on Monday but still haven't heard back from anyone.

Have others generally received prompt replies through HipByte's FreshDesk account?

It seems like HipByte's account on MyJetBrains is more active but I don't think I'm able to create a new ticket there. I'm assuming that's where tickets go once they've been confirmed and placed into the queue.

This bug is really slowing us down. I feel like I may have to implement a more complicated UIGestureRecognizer-based solution just to get around this. Obviously not ideal.

Hi Devon,

Sorry for the late reply. We definitely try to answer most support tickets in 24 hours, but we don’t work during the weekend and there have been too many tickets in the queue to respond in a soon enough manner.

I have replied on fresh desk regarding your specific inquiry.

Thanks so much Eloy. I understand that you guys must be crazy busy. Thanks for taking the time to verify the bug and touch base.

For anyone else interested, here's the link to the new ticket:
