Long story short, I need a working AMF gateway for Rails 3.2.x and Ruby 1.9.3.

Seems the available options are coming up short. And I have no experience dealing with the integration layer between Flex and Ruby.

Help! :D

From the flex developer:

"I ran the current flex web application in debug mode. The data comes in from the server already defined as the value object. That is the claim listing data comes in as ClaimInfo objects.

In the upgrade-ruby version the data arrives defined as a generic object. This data cannot be bound to an value object in the flex app."

That was for the rubyamf gem (using the RocketAMF gem) (actually from git since neither of them have been released as gems).

...so maybe the issue is between RocketAMF (supposedly does the AMF translation/serialization) and rubyamf...

It looks like rubyamf was upgraded for Rails 3 and there are forks of rails3-amf with commits actually happening in this year!

From my cursory glance, it seems like rubyamf would be your best choice to extend, modify, monkey patch, and abuse according to your needs. Although, without knowing what's causing you pain, I cannot say much more :)
