profile jruby on rails startup

Hey all, I need to profile several jruby on rails apps starting up in Jetty. They take a long time, while the solr app is up virtually instantly. Looking for ways to dig in and see what's going on. Profilers, how to get jruby to report itself from the container, whatever.
