Hey François!

Wes here, from Amsterdam.rb and Utrecht.rb (both in the Netherlands)
Thanks for starting the mailing list, it is a good initiative!

Let's see how many nationalities we can gather here :)

Cheers,

Wes

hi Julio and Wes, thanks for coming !

I've just made you moderators of this Google Group.
If this list becomes successful, it will need moderators
and if spam becomes to invade this list, to prevent it,
I will be forced to activate the Google option "moderation
on the first new message", so I will also need moderators :)

Let's hope spam won't come to us :)

Hello,

I am a beginner Rubyist from Poland. Originally I am a visual artist,
graphic designer and electronic muscian so it is prooving to be a big
challenge for me learning Ruby. However, I find it supremely
satisfying every time I learn about how to utilize a new Ruby object,
I plan on creating a series of Ruby screen casts that I can teach Ruby
Nubys the Ruby language based on the lack of Ruby screen casts out on
the net.

Take care,
caeious

HI there Caecious,

This is the captain speaking. It's awesome to have you on board. :P

We're specially pleased to have developers from the East. We're some deep ties there.

Rock On!
Javier.-

Hi Caeious,

Welcome to the club!
More screencasts are always welcome! When you make them, see if you
can get them listed on http://rubytu.be, which seems an aggregator for
Ruby screencasts.

Cheers,

Wes
