Hi,
Installing Ruby on Windows can be quite challenging, as maintaining a stable environment is not always straightforward. One alternative is to use WSL (Windows Subsystem for Linux), which you can install from the Microsoft Store.
Once WSL is installed, you can set up a Linux distribution (such as Ubuntu) and configure your environment to run Ruby. After launching WSL, you will have access to your Windows files under /mnt/c/Users
.
This approach provides a more stable and Unix-like environment for Ruby development, reducing compatibility issues commonly encountered on Windows. Let me know if you need help setting it up!
Best,
Lka Dev
