I hope so! We still have the same list of projects as last year for JRuby, since our students didn't complete the summer: https://github.com/rubygsoc/rubygsoc/wiki/Ideas-List-(2023)#jruby

I did not run the organization last year so I'm not sure of status right now, but JRuby definitely wants to be a part of this year's GSoC!
