Do any of you manage to get the test suite to pass on your local machine, or are you relying entirely on the TravisCI build to see if the changes you make are panning out?

I understand that for some apps out there, nobody has been able to get the tests on his/her local machine in years.  Thus, everyone on the team relies on the continuous integration environment to see if their changes to the source code pan out.  Is this one of those apps?

Hi Jason,

Yes, the test suite passes on local machines. Please check out development setup to configure your local environment https://github.com/rubygems/rubygems.org/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md#development-setup

Let us know if you face any issues.
