Can I subscribe to updates to Rubygems?

Instead of manually checking https://rubygems.org/pages/download for a new version number, is there a way of checking for a new release? 

I know that you have a blog, but that posts about more than just releases.

One way to do so is by keeping track of the RubyGems Github releases page atom feed feed:https://github.com/rubygems/rubygems/releases.atom
