authenticated & protected but no SSO

Hi there,

I setup a CAS running locally in Tomcat (a CAS war file), and 2 rails
apps using rubycas-client gem to connect to the CAS server for
authentication.

For each app, I am getting the login page from CAS prior to logged in
as expected. Once logged in I am able to navigate around the same app
without having to login again.
But when I try to access the second app I get redirected to login page
again.
So basically I am getting the authentication but not the SSO effects.

Initially both rails apps were using the default cookie store then I
thought I'd try active record store but still no SSO love....

Any ideas on what could be the cause?

I am running:
CAS 3.3.5
ruby 1.8.7
rails 2.3.5
rubycas-client 2.1.0

Glad to hear you got it running via WAR deployment. I know people have been asking about this, so any tips on how you did it would be great.

In regards to debugging the SSO, we'd need your log files (from the CAS server, and from the two clients). Can you post those here or email them directly to me? Start with fresh logs, do a login on one client, and then another login on the other.

Hi Matt,

I should clarify I am running http://www.jasig.org/cas CAS server, so
getting it to run in Tomcat is straight out of box.
But I would be happy to look into getting rubycas-server running as a
war, it could be another option for us to use.

I first hit the store app then the blog app, both apps redirected me
to CAS login page.
Both store and blog app are still using active_record_store.
