Simple ActiveRecord Class Mapping example available?

Hello all,
Can anyone provide me with a simple class mapping example for
ActiveRecord models I'm using? I'm just wanting to know the bare
essentials that are needed to get data from a Flex GUI to a Rails
application database via ActiveRecord models and class mappings.
Please help!

Are you using RemoteObject or SSR2?

Errr... I'm not sure, as I don't even know where to start. I think
what I'm wanting to do is map Ruby objects to AS objects and I don't
know if doing that requires RemoteObject or SSR2 or if it can be done
with both. If it can be done with both, I just want to use what is
recommended.
