I'll be at New York Grind:
http://www.nyg.ie/

in the IFSC this Sunday for brunch from around 10am.

It's across from the Clarion Hotel, and about 5 minutes away from
Connolly station.

They allegedly have Free Wifi, I'll try to verify that. They do have
decent, inexpensive food and adequate coffee.

If enough people say they're coming I'll book us a table.

Great! See you all there, along with anyone else who feels like
dropping by. :-)

I tested out the WiFi this morning over a breakfast of buttermilk
pancakes. The sacrifices I make for you people, honestly. I mean I had
to go 30 feet out of my way!!! They actually have free wifi and it
actually works. I know, I was amazed too. Very friendly people, which
does sort of ruin the "New York" theme but oh well. ;-)

Miss Nelson I didn't know the definition of friendly until I went to
New York!

But you're definitely one of the pushers: http://www.mulley.net/2008/01/04/get-out-and-push/

And it's appreciated no end: http://www.pabcas.com/2008/1/6/something-great-happened-today

Thanks to everyone for showing up. :-) It was the first of many, I'm
sure. I had a great time, and actually got lots of coding done despite
the distraction of fun conversations. It's great to be able to say
"hey where's the known hosts file again" and get a speedy response.

NYG were fantastic hosts. Great service, great food and very patient
with us taking over their cafe. Amazing wifi network, wasn't it? Also,
I'm going to upgrade my coffee rating from "adequate" to "good" (which
is high praise).

Paul, thanks for the great writeup on your blog. And, as for New
Yorkers being friendly you know you're not supposed to tell anyone
about that. They have an image to maintain!

Photos from Sunday are here - pabcas' photography - my pro account ;-)
