Hi Sunspotters--
Nick and I want some help maintaining and improving Sunspot! There are
quite a few issues, new feature requests, and pull requests. However,
Sunspot is by and large a well-written library with mainstream
adoption.
If you're interested in helping, we're going to try adopting a more
open commit policy. We'll still encourage committers to use pull
requests for bigger changes, but it won't be required to funnel
through just a few folks.
If you've had a pull request accepted or have one open--and are
interested in gaining commit access--ping Nick or me on or off list
and we'll make it happen.
Interacting with Solr can be a bit intimidating, so Nick is definitely
available to help on that front still.
