What You Will Be Doing
You will be developing and maintaining our products and services using Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, HTML and CSS. Deploy to our local infrastructure and maintain availability of the platform. You will also be integrating with social media APIs such as Facebook and Twitter. Sound like fun? Keep reading!
What You Need for this Position
3+ years of Ruby on Rails development experience
Experience deploying apps using: Ubuntu, VPS, Opscode Chef, Capistrano
Hands on RESTful API experience
Experience integrating with API's (Facebook, Twitter, Google, etc)
Proficiency with SQL
Strong web development skills including: jQuery, HTML and CSS
BS, MS, PhD in Computer Science or equivalent degree
Preferred: knowledge of Resque / Sidekiq
Git/Github, TDD, Postgres, OSX, Linux
