Current status of roo gem with JRuby?

Is roo for JRuby supported?

I am writing an ODS reader/importer and normally use JRuby,

but will use a c ruby if needed.

Never mind. I am finding that roo is working fine with Libre Office calc files. I was having problems with gnumeric files.
