Requirement Details:
Senior Systems Administrator
Administrator to assist with the implementation of asset, change, and
configuration management for PTC (Positive Train Control). The PTC project is a
five year project which will overhaul the method in which train control is
handled. The current process involves the engineer to stop the train for
certain signals and orders. The future process will involve a systematic
override in the event that the engineer does not begin slowing the train in
time to stop for signals and orders. The size and scope of the PTC project is
unprecedented and, as a result, change, asset, and configuration management
processes are being implemented specifically related to PTC. These processes
are being implemented by the service management team with the intent to use
Maximo as the core product to implement these processes. Key business areas
have already been identified, and the scope of the work has already been
defined as well.
Other responsibilities include system administration duties
as required for the suite of tools supported by the Service Management team.

* Experience in providing System Administration support in a multi-team,
multi-project Application and Infrastructure environment
* Ability to work in a scrum-oriented environment, multitasking

* Willingness to document all work completed
* Ability to take directions from others, work unsupervised, and be a team
player
